Their portfolio spans multiple therapeutic areas with several blockbuster products and a robust pipeline of next-generation biologics and advanced modalities. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global clinical development strategy for the therapeutic area, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and portfolio priorities.
  • Drive long-term vision for pipeline growth, lifecycle management, and indication expansion.
  • Provide scientific and medical leadership to shape the company's position in the therapeutic area.
  • Oversee all clinical programs within the therapeutic area, from early development through post-marketing.
  • Prioritize resources across programs to maximize portfolio value and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Ensure robust benefit-risk assessments and governance for all assets.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to develop global submission strategies and anticipate evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Influence evidence generation plans to support labeling, reimbursement, and market access.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Represent the company at major scientific and industry forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Monitor scientific trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform pipeline strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for new indications, combination therapies, and platform applications.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of development plans.
  • Serve as a key member of corporate governance committees and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor clinical development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and scientific excellence.
  • Recruit and develop top talent to build a high-performing organization.

Ideal Candidate

  • Medical degree (MD) with 8+ years in Clinical Development
  • US Board Certification in Rheumatology, Dermatology, or Allergy & Immunology
  • Proven leadership experience
