Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global clinical development strategy for the therapeutic area, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and portfolio priorities.
- Drive long-term vision for pipeline growth, lifecycle management, and indication expansion.
- Provide scientific and medical leadership to shape the company's position in the therapeutic area.
- Oversee all clinical programs within the therapeutic area, from early development through post-marketing.
- Prioritize resources across programs to maximize portfolio value and accelerate time-to-market.
- Ensure robust benefit-risk assessments and governance for all assets.
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs to develop global submission strategies and anticipate evolving regulatory requirements.
- Influence evidence generation plans to support labeling, reimbursement, and market access.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groups.
- Represent the company at major scientific and industry forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Monitor scientific trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform pipeline strategy.
- Identify opportunities for new indications, combination therapies, and platform applications.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of development plans.
- Serve as a key member of corporate governance committees and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor clinical development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and scientific excellence.
- Recruit and develop top talent to build a high-performing organization.
Ideal Candidate
- Medical degree (MD) with 8+ years in Clinical Development
- US Board Certification in Rheumatology, Dermatology, or Allergy & Immunology
- Proven leadership experience
