Test Engineer - MedTech
Location: Boston, MA (On‑Site, Full Time)
Contract: 5‑Month Freelance (W2 Only)

A leading MedTech company is seeking a Test Engineer to support product development, verification, and validation activities. Candidates must be authorised to work on a W2 basis only.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded firmware and internal tooling to support hardware, software, and QA teams.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA QSR across all development and testing phases.
- Support verification and validation (V&V) activities, risk assessments, cybersecurity reviews, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Write, manage, and maintain clear and complete technical documentation, including test protocols, reports, and regulatory submission artifacts.
- Participate in cross‑functional design reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development and optimization of test fixtures and lab infrastructure.
- Assist with hardware test setups, integration testing, and troubleshooting using strong understanding of electrical circuits and hands‑on interaction with electromechanical components.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with electromechanical medical devices.
Additional Information
- Full-time, on-site work in Boston is required.
- Immediate availability is essential.
- Position offered on a W2‑only basis.
