Medical Science Liaison Manager - NRW (m/f/d)
We have a current opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (NRW) (m/f/d) on a permanent basis. This position will play a pivotal role in KOL/KEE management and supporting Medical projects within our organisation for our new groundbreaking innovative drug in the infectious diseases specialty care therapeutic area.
Role
* Manage key external experts (KEEs) by providing medical-scientific support, particularly related to new drug launches in a hospital environment.
* Collaborate with Medical Affairs across all functions.
* Identify, select, characterise, and provide continuous support to KEEs within the respective indication area, serving as the primary contact for scientific dialogue.
* Conduct research on care structures and guidelines in preparation for planned product launches.
* Engage in intensive literature research and attend congresses, with subsequent reporting and ongoing observation of competing products.
* Prepare and deliver medico-scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, non-medical professionals, and patient organisations. Also, actively participate in internal and external lecturing activities.
* Participate in national and regional expert meetings and speaker trainings.
* Implement clinical projects regionally, including investigator-initiated trials (IITs), non-interventional studies (NIS), and registry studies.
Qualifications
Completed study in medicine, natural sciences, or pharmacy, preferably with a doctorate.
* Willingness to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.
* Experience working as an MSL, preferably for over 2 years.
* Experience in infectiology, intensive care, oncology, specialty care, or haemato-oncology indications would be ideal.
* Customer- and service-oriented mindset with an engaging and reliable demeanor.
* Profound knowledge of relevant regulations, including AMG, HWG, and industry compliance codes.
* Project management skills.
* Confident presentation and moderation skills.
* Proficiency in common IT applications, especially PowerPoint.
* Excellent written and spoken English and German skills.
