Lead Clinical Data Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite required)

EPM Scientific is partnered with a rapidly growing, Commercial-Stage Biopharmaceutical company to hire a Lead Clinical Data Manager. Our client is seeking a key member to add to their data management team to help support and deliver activities for assigned studies. This position will give you high level exposure to leadership and an opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams and external vendors. It is a rare blend of stability from a financial runway perspective, and still offers extensive room for growth internally.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Data management lead for one or more clinical studies
  • Support EDC system setup and database change control in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Monitor study progress, track data metrics, and proactively identify and address data-related risks and delays
  • Coordinate and perform ongoing data review, query management, and data cleaning activities to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • Coordinate with CROs, EDC vendors, and functional partners for assigned studies
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP, ICH, and regulatory requirements in all data management activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including study-level lead experience
  • Experience working within oncology, metabolic, or cardiovascular therapeutic areas
  • Experience leading data management for Phase II-III global studies
  • Familiar with managing data from multiple external vendors
  • Exposure to data review and visualization tools (JReview, Spotfire)
