Our client, a small but rapidly growing analytical instrumentation company, is seeking a passionate and skilled Field Application Scientist to join their growing team in the United States. This permanent role offers an incredible opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in life sciences and process chemistry while supporting customers across the region.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Expertise in Analytical Instruments: Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of analytical instruments or automation tools used in chemical or pharmaceutical research.
- Background in Process or Analytical Chemistry: A solid understanding of chemical synthesis, process chemistry, or crystallization research is vital to succeed in this role.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharma or chemical research industry, gaining practical knowledge and insights.
- Commercial Acumen: The ability to connect scientific expertise with business strategy and contribute to client-focused solutions. Demonstrable ability to conduct presentations, product demos, troubleshooting, and technical trainings.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customers across the United States.
- Education: MSc or PhD in chemistry, process chemistry, chemical engineering, solid state chemistry, biochemistry or similar is required.
