Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid) or Remote
EPM Scientific is partnering with a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative oncology and neurology therapies for patients with high unmet needs, seeking an experienced Director of U.S. Medical Affairs Capabilities & Training. The Director will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive scientific education curriculum, onboarding programs, and capabilities-based training for both Home-Office and Field-based Medical Affairs professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver onboarding programs for MSLs and in-house Medical Affairs personnel on relevant therapeutic areas, products, and core capabilities/skills.
- Maintain a digital learning platform with self-paced e-learning modules and training resources.
- Provide continuing education to the department on clinical data, publications, and competitive landscape.
- Regularly align with Medical Affairs leadership on training content, priorities, and strategy.
- Define and track performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of educational programs.
- Contribute to departmental resource allocation, tactical planning, and long-term strategy.
- Manage 1-2 direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Advanced medical/scientific degree (PhD, MD, PharmD)
- 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs training, learning and development, or capabilities position.
- Expertise in oncology is strongly preferred.
- Travel nationally/internationally as needed (up to 20-30%).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary of $240,000 - $260,000
- 25% annual bonus
