Operating multiple production sites across Europe, Asia, and North America, the company provides end‑to‑end support from polymer processing and engineered plastics solutions to fully finished, market‑ready products.
This role is central to shaping commercial expansion within the DACH region and driving long‑term business development in a technically sophisticated environment.

Your Responsibilities


Market & Commercial Strategy

  • Analyse Central European industrial markets to identify customers with high strategic value and evaluate long‑term commercial potential.
  • Lead acquisition efforts across the DACH region, targeting clients requiring complex engineered plastics, polymer‑based solutions, or advanced technical components.
  • Build data‑driven business cases and coordinate cross‑functional input from global manufacturing sites.

Customer & Partnership Development

  • Develop and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key accounts across industrial and technical sectors.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and high‑level customer meetings, acting as a senior commercial ambassador.

Project & Contract Management

  • Manage quotation processes, coordinate tailored solution proposals, and oversee project execution through to successful completion.
  • Support contract structuring, pricing, negotiation, and framework agreements for multinational customers.

Pricing & Profitability

  • Define and implement pricing strategies that ensure sustainable margins across diverse technical applications.


Leadership & Regional Presence

  • Collaborate closely with global production, engineering, and technical teams to align customer requirements with plastics processing capabilities and manufacturing expertise.
  • Maintain an active presence across the DACH region through regular customer visits and on‑site engagements.
  • Execute administrative tasks remotely or from designated regional sites.


Requirements

  • University degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Additional training in Sales, Commercial Management, or Business Development is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of polymer processing, engineered plastics solutions, and industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Several years of experience in international sales and business development, ideally within plastics, engineered components, or other technically complex capital goods.
  • Proven ability to secure, grow, and manage high‑value accounts with international potential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Central Europe.
  • Based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, with both remote and on‑site work flexibility.
