Job Title: Art Director - Market Access (Healthcare Advertising)
Location: Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, PA)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly creative and strategically minded Art Director with experience in healthcare advertising, particularly within the market access space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of visual storytelling, data-driven communication, and healthcare strategy. You will lead the visual development of access-focused campaigns that help patients, providers, and payers understand the value of innovative therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of visual strategies for market access deliverables, including value decks, AMCP dossiers, payer leave-behinds, and infographics.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to ensure creative aligns with brand strategy and access objectives.
- Translate complex clinical and economic data into compelling, easy-to-understand visuals.
- Oversee and mentor junior designers and freelancers to maintain high-quality creative output.
- Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders and clients with confidence and clarity.
- Stay current on healthcare trends, payer landscapes, and access communication best practices.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare advertising, with at least 1-2 years focused on market access or payer communications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing healthcare and access-related work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with PowerPoint and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Deep understanding of FDA regulations and compliance in healthcare marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, PA); hybrid work model with in-office collaboration as needed.
