This role will be instrumental in scaling market presence, accelerating revenue growth, and shaping commercial excellence across Europe and beyond.
The Role
As the VP Commercial, you will:
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy across Europe to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead, inspire, and build high‑performing commercial teams spanning sales, marketing, and business development.
- Identify new market opportunities within genomics, multi‑omics, and adjacent life science technology segments.
- Partner closely with R&D, Product, and Executive Leadership to align commercial priorities with scientific and product innovation.
- Foster strategic partnerships with key accounts, industry stakeholders, and channel partners.
- Represent the organisation at major scientific and industry events.
Key Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a senior commercial role (Director, VP, or similar) within life sciences, genomics, single‑cell technologies, or advanced instrumentation.
- Strong track record driving commercial strategy, market expansion, and revenue scaling.
- Technical background (e.g., molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, bioengineering).
- Exceptional relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, scale‑up environment.
- Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous.
- Based in the Netherlands preferred, but candidates located elsewhere in Europe will be considered.
