Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the long-term clinical strategy for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and portfolio priorities.
  • Drive strategic decision-making across multiple programs, balancing risk, timelines, and resource allocation to maximize portfolio value.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to develop global submission strategies and anticipate evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Influence label strategy and evidence generation plans to support commercialization and payer access.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic collaborators, and advocacy groups to inform strategy and accelerate adoption.
  • Represent the company at major scientific and industry forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Monitor scientific trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform pipeline expansion and lifecycle management.
  • Identify opportunities for new indications, combination strategies, or platform applications.
  • Chair strategic governance committees for clinical programs, ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Oversee benefit-risk assessments and ensure alignment with corporate risk tolerance.
  • Mentor senior clinical leaders and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and scientific excellence.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy discussions and investor communications as a key scientific leader.

Ideal Candidate

  • Medical degree (MD) with 5+ years in Clinical Development
  • US Board Certification
