Business Development Manager, Biopharma (DACH & BeNeLux)
We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives across the DACH and Benelux regions. Based ideally in north Germany, you will serve as the strategic link between leading biopharmaceutical companies and global suppliers of high-quality chemical ingredients. Your mission: to drive revenue, expand our client network, and uncover untapped market potential for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities in the Biopharma chemical ingredients market across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including R&D leaders and procurement professionals-expect up to 50% travel.
- Manage the entire sales life cycle: from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to secure and grow strategic business partnerships.
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide actionable insights through regular performance reporting.
Your Profile
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in sales, business development, or technical support within the Biopharma or related industries.
- A self-starter with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets, coupled with excellent time management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and building long-term client relationships.
- Fluent in both English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
