Technical Engineer (QC Lab)
We are seeking a Technical Engineer (QC) with a strong GMP background to support laboratory operations and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, compliance, and smooth day-to-day functioning in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically skilled, and fluent in Dutch, as most documentation and communication are in Dutch.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory machines and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards across all activities.
- Collaborate with QC and engineering teams to support inspection readiness and maintain validated state.
- Document interventions and activities in Dutch, aligning with site requirements.
Requirements
- Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline).
- Proven experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fix and maintain lab equipment.
- Fluency in Dutch (documentation and communication are primarily in Dutch).
- Availability to work on-site, 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratories or containment facilities.
- Familiarity with sterility assurance and validation principles.
