About the Role
EPM are partnered with a pioneering provider of advanced scientific instrumentation, who are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead their commercial expansion across the DACH region. This is a high-impact role for a sales professional who thrives in a technical environment and is passionate about supporting scientific innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships, and managing the full sales cycle. Working closely with technical specialists, they will help research institutions and biotech companies access cutting-edge tools that enable groundbreaking discoveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the sales process across the DACH region
- Develop and execute a tailored go-to-market strategy
- Identify and engage potential customers in academia, biotech, and pharma
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations
- Represent our client at key industry events and conferences
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Provide market intelligence to support product development and strategic planning
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally involving complex scientific or technical equipment
- Strong understanding of the life sciences research landscape in the DACH region
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (MSc or PhD preferred)
- Familiarity with consultative or insight-based sales methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
