Quality Excellence Manager

We are currently partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical manufacturer looking to hire a Quality Excellence professional in one of their major sites in Switzerland. The role offers the opportunity to significantly influence quality performance and operational excellence within a complex, fast‑moving environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Championing process harmonization and efficiency initiatives aligned with the company's operational excellence framework (LBMS).
  • Driving the rollout of a Lean‑oriented Batch Release program and ensuring its successful integration at the site.
  • Setting up and strengthening Quality Excellence structures-including CoE and PMO frameworks-to enable simplification, standardization, and the digital transformation of critical quality processes.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement by actively promoting LEAN principles, coaching teams, and fostering idea generation within the Quality organization.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and communicating key Quality performance indicators, and initiating improvement measures to ensure targets are consistently met.
  • Supporting multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring strong accountability, timely progress, and achievement of defined deliverables.
  • Sharing best practices across departments and contributing to knowledge exchange across the broader network.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • A university degree in a scientific discipline or a completed apprenticeship in a pharmaceutical setting (e.g., Lab Technician, CPT).
  • Solid professional experience in GMP‑regulated environments, ideally within QA/QC.
  • Proven capability with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt certification (or higher) is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with tools such as PowerBI and/or Minitab is advantageous.
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken) with strong English proficiency.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse functional groups.
