EPM Scientific are leading the search for a US Head of Sales for a rapidly growing rare diseases biotech with ambitions to launch new specialty product in the US in 2026

This Head of Sales US will spearhead the strategic development and growth of a 25-person field force from the ground up. This is your chance to shape and influence the success of an emerging product in the rare diseases space while making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing 25-person sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Execute a new product launch in the rare diseases market with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Implement best practices in Buy & Bill processes to optimize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive meaningful outcomes for patients.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Rare Diseases Expertise: 8+ years of experience in rare diseases and specialty medicine, with proven success in navigating this unique market segment.
  • New Product Launch Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead successful product launches, ensuring sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Second Line Leadership: Strong track record of managing and developing sales leadership layers within diverse, scalable teams.
  • Deep Knowledge of US Market: Extensive familiarity with the US pharmaceuticals landscape, particularly in Buy & Bill processes.
