Clinical Business Development Country Manager (m.w.d)
EPM Scientific is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing client in the clinical research space, currently seeking a Clinical Trials Business Development Manager for a freelance contract role based in Germany. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinical research professional to step into a dynamic, business-facing role that blends operational oversight with strategic growth initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in clinical trial management who is ready to leverage their expertise and network to drive site development and business expansion across Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the client's site network strategy, engaging with key stakeholders across the pharmaceutical, CRO, and institutional landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- FTE: 0.5 - 1.0, offering flexibility depending on availability and project needs.
- Utilize and grow your existing network within pharma, CROs, and clinical institutions to promote the client's clinical trial sites and operational capabilities.
- Actively support the identification and onboarding of new clinical sites, contributing to the development of a robust and scalable site network across Germany.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events, arrange and lead meetings with potential clients, and collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance visibility and outreach.
- Once clinical studies are initiated, oversee site teams to ensure full compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and internal quality standards.
- Travel to sites and events as needed-a valid driver's license is required.
- Fluency in both English and German is essential to effectively communicate with local and international stakeholders.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical trials is required, ideally with exposure to both operational and business development functions.
This is a freelance position, with competitive financial remuneration based on your experience and skill set. There is also potential for this role to evolve into a full-time permanent position in the future, should both parties wish to pursue that path.
