About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge, ultra-precision equipment for contact lens and intraocular lens (IOL) production, is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager. This role offers an incredible opportunity to drive strategic growth across the US by building new business and expanding relationships with key accounts within the medical device and life sciences sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consultative, high-value (300-400K+) CAPEX sales for major manufacturers, successfully navigating long sales cycles and complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at key industry conferences, trade shows, and events to strengthen relationships and identify new business prospects
  • Allocate 50% of focus uncovering and securing new business opportunities, while the other half dedicated to strengthening relationships and driving growth within existing key accounts

Skills and Expertise

  • Territory Management: Proven ability to manage and grow sales territories effectively, particularly within the life sciences & medical device sectors
  • CAPEX Sales Expertise: Record of successfully selling capital equipment, particularly in high-value consultative sales settings with long sales cycles (6-10 months +)
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience and deep knowledge in ultra-precision manufacturing technologies, particularly within the ophthalmic device sector - including contact lens and intraocular lens (IOL) production
