Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aseptic processing, or GMP-regulated production environments?

Are you looking for the next step in your engineering career in a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing pharmaceutical business that combines technical challenge, career progression and the chance to work on developing products that make a real difference to patients?

On offer is an opportunity to become the technical authority for a portfolio of commercially critical products, working at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain. You'll have the autonomy to lead investigations, optimise processes, support major engineering projects, and influence manufacturing performance across a global operation.

This company is a growing and innovative life sciences organisation with a strong reputation for developing products that make a meaningful difference to patients' lives. Despite its global presence, it maintains a collaborative culture where individuals are empowered to take ownership, contribute ideas, and drive change. Employees benefit from working within a highly supportive environment where expertise is valued, career development is encouraged, and contributions have a visible impact on business success.

In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for commercial manufacturing operations, providing technical leadership across process troubleshooting, deviation investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, validation activities, and capital projects. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, validation, and external partners to ensure robust, efficient, and compliant production processes.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering background within pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments, coupled with proven experience supporting commercial production operations. You will be comfortable operating across multiple stakeholders, solving complex technical challenges, and leading projects from concept through implementation.

This role is ideal for experienced Process Engineers looking to take on greater technical ownership, or for established manufacturing and process engineering professionals seeking a broader position with significant influence across site operations and strategic improvement initiatives.

The Role:

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for commercial manufacturing processes
  • Lead process investigations, root cause analysis activities, and deviation resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Support the installation, validation, and implementation of new process equipment

Who We're Looking For:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Significant experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting process improvements, investigations, validation activities, and technical projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and external partners

What's On Offer:

  • Opportunity to become the technical lead for key commercial manufacturing processes
  • High-impact role with significant visibility across manufacturing operations
  • Collaborative culture with strong opportunities for professional development
  • Competitive salary of up to £76,000 plus benefits
