Germany | Medical Device Manufacturing | 12-Month Contract
We're supporting a leading global healthcare organisation on a critical supplier improvement programme and are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Process Development Engineer to join a long term project in Germany.
You will be working closely with a key manufacturing supplier to improve existing moulding processes, increase process reliability, reduce manufacturing risk and ensure long term supply continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing existing moulding and manufacturing processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve process capability and consistency.
- Revalidating moulding equipment, tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Applying scientific moulding principles and modern process development techniques.
- Writing and executing validation protocols and reports.
- Supporting process improvement and manufacturing optimisation projects.
Ideal candidate:
- Strong process development experience within medical device manufacturing environments.
- Injection moulding experience.
- Process validation and revalidation expertise.
- Previous project management or project leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, validation documentation and compliance requirements.
Working Pattern: Predominantly onsite. Candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time at the manufacturing site, with flexibility for remote working when completing documentation and reporting activities. Occasional travel to Switzerland required.
