About the Role

EPM is working with a pioneering life science instruments company in their search for an experienced Territory Manager to drive commercial success across the DACH region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about introducing disruptive technologies to market, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to the company's broader growth strategy.


The Territory Manager will be responsible for both maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers across academia, biotech, and pharma, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role requires a consultative approach to selling, with a focus on managing complex sales workflows and contributing to strategic initiatives that support long-term regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring continued satisfaction and engagement
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Drive market adoption of new technologies through consultative, value-based selling
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving technical evaluations and multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborate with application scientists, product specialists, and marketing teams
  • Contribute to strategic planning and market development initiatives within the region
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide timely pipeline and forecast updates

Experience

  • Proven experience in life science sales, ideally within the DACH region
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products and navigating complex sales processes
  • Experience selling high capital equipment (€300K+) into academic or commercial research environments
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology, immunology, or biophysics
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel across the territory (up to 40%)
