About the Job

A family‑owned, international specialty chemicals company focused on biocides, technical preservatives, and chemical additives for industrial applications. The organisation combines in‑house manufacturing, regulatory expertise, and deep application know‑how to support customers across construction, coatings, water treatment, fuels, and material protection markets worldwide.

Your Tasks

  • Drive sales growth for biocides and preservation solutions across industrial applications including coatings, construction materials, water systems, fuels, and process fluids.
  • Strategically develop key accounts while identifying and onboarding new customers in the DACH region.
  • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships, acting as a trusted commercial and technical partner.
  • Identify market opportunities, monitor trends, and translate customer needs into value‑based commercial and technical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, manage pricing, lead negotiations, and close contracts with structured follow‑up and margin focus.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support product positioning and portfolio development by feeding market insights back into the organisation.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, customer meetings, and industry events across the DACH region.

Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience within biocides, specialty chemicals, or industrial chemical raw materials.
  • Strong background in B2B sales and key account management, ideally in preservation or technical chemical applications.
  • Experience managing both new business development and established key accounts.
  • Confident, structured negotiator with an entrepreneurial, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to translate customer challenges into commercial and technical value propositions.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline
  • Fluent German and English are required.
  • Willingness to travel across the DACH region (up to 50%).
