Freelance Supply Chain Technical Manager
EPM Scientific are currently supporting a Chemical Manufacturing client of ours who are currently looking for a Freelance Supply Chain specialist with experience in SAP EWM roll-outs/implementation to support a major operational greenfield project with SAP S/4HANA already in place for a new production plant. This is a strategic initiative aimed at optimising warehouse operations and ensuring seamless integration between production and logistics functions.
Scope of project:
- Integration of SAP EWM across the business
- Coverage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods warehouses
- Support of internal material flows between warehouses and production
- Support across the full project life cycle
- Drive the team through implementation, design and transformation
- Oversee 2 full cycles from design phase to implementation, go live to cut over phases
- Ensure smooth transition and post-launch support, addressing any operational challenges promptly
- Close cooperation with IT, production, logistics and automation teams to guarantee system interoperability and process optimisation
- Internal logistics, covering material flows between warehouses and production
Ideal profile:
- Proven implementation experiences of EWM in large manufacturing operations
- Proven implementation experiences in automated/EWM supported internal logistics
- Excellent presentation skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Support of internal material flows between warehouses and production, focusing on efficiency and minimising downtime
- Excellent pedagogical skills
- Must speak English and Polish fluently to facilitate communication across teams
- Ability to train the team on using SAP EWM & previous implementation experience in similar environments
Contract details:
- 12 month contract
- January 2026 start
- Full time
- 2-3 days on site in Nysa
