EPM is partnered with a medical device leader focused in the hypertension space. This small start-up recently received a significant round of funding in the past 12 months and is now seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to help lead the strategy and execution of their clinical studies. This role will report directly into the CMO and will have close collaboration with the rest of the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of global clinical trials from EFS through pivotal studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, Medical, and Scientific to ensure alignment on program goals.
  • Oversee CROs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, compliance, and timelines are met.
  • Develop and manage clinical operations budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to clinical development plans, regulatory submissions, and inspection readiness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the clinical operations team.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences or related field
  • 10+ years of clinical operations experience in the medical device industry (ideally within cardiology or pulmonary)
  • Proven track record in early to late phase studies and regulatory submissions.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
