A global biologics manufacturing company that specializes in producing high quality recombinant proteins and enzymes with a catalogue of thousands of products used for drug discovery and development is expanding their marketing function and is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager for their Boston territory. This Marketing Specialist will help to lead its inbound marketing initiatives. This company has an extensive reputation of specialized services in drug manufacturing and innovation and is known as a leader in Contract Drug Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital strategies that attract, engage, and convert target audiences. Your role will include:

  • Inbound Marketing Strategy: Crafting and executing comprehensive inbound marketing plans to drive lead generation and brand engagement.
  • Email Automation: Designing and refining automated email workflows using HubSpot to nurture prospects and boost conversion rates.
  • Digital Advertising: Managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn, with a focus on performance tracking and ROI optimization.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Enhancing website visibility through effective on-page and off-page SEO practices.
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM): Overseeing SEM efforts, including keyword research, ad creation, and budget allocation to maximize search visibility.
  • Content Development: Producing compelling content for blogs, social media, and other digital channels to support marketing goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitoring campaign performance, analyzing key metrics, and delivering actionable insights to improve outcomes.
  • Market Awareness: Staying informed about emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with internal teams such as sales and product development to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the biotechnology or life sciences sector.
  • Familiarity with biologics and related scientific concepts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot, including CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing email marketing campaigns and automation workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong track record in planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for creating engaging content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Must reside in the Greater Boston Area and be available for hybrid work arrangements.
