Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Location: South Korea, remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive Technical Sales Specialist to join our client in Korea. The ideal candidate will have prior understanding of NGS, Genome Sequencers or related Medical Devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, technical solutions to customers in the spatial omics field to achieve and exceed sales targets;
  • Engage with potential and existing collaborators to discuss product offerings and tailor solutions to their specific needs;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for collaborators on spatial omics and related projects, ensuring timely responses and ongoing support;
  • Offer expert application support, including experiment design, data analysis, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction;
  • Collaborate with internal scientists to address customer-driven biological questions and ensure project success;
  • Manage and oversee customer projects, ensuring alignment with company regulations and timelines;
  • Conduct technical training and manage the technical transfer of new technologies from headquarters to regional teams;
  • Represent the company at major conferences and events, showcasing expertise and building market presence;
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts detailing methodologies, findings, and results for internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Gather and analyze market feedback to provide actionable insights to Product and R&D teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • 2 years+ work experience in technical sales, field application support, or a related role in NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing), molecular biology or proteomics.
  • Willingness to travel primarily within the assigned region. International travel, including to China, may be required for training or occasional special assignments.
  • Prior experience in customer support within a highly technical field preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven English written and verbal communication skills, with experience in training or presentations.
  • Experience working in an international company, preferably in biomedical instrumentation or technology.
