A leading, fast-scaling MedTech organisation is seeking a Surgical Sales Director - Europe to drive the strategic growth of its innovative minimally invasive surgical portfolio. This role presents a unique opportunity for a senior commercial leader to influence the adoption of advanced surgical technologies across European markets.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the European commercial strategy, leading a high-performing sales organisation, and accelerating revenue growth across key regions. Working at the forefront of surgical innovation, they will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence and strengthening relationships with key clinical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the European sales strategy, delivering on ambitious revenue and growth targets
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing surgical sales team across multiple markets
  • Drive adoption of minimally invasive technologies within hospitals, surgical centres, and with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, marketing, and regulatory to ensure successful product launches
  • Develop and refine go-to-market strategies tailored to diverse European healthcare systems
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with surgeons, procurement leaders, and hospital executives
  • Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, including geographic expansion and new clinical applications

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within medical devices, ideally in minimally invasive or surgical technologies
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and scale sales organisations at a European or regional level
  • Strong network within European surgical and hospital ecosystems
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Deep understanding of European healthcare systems, procurement, and reimbursement pathways
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities
