Hematology/Oncology Sales Specialist - Pacific Northwest

Compensation: $150,000-$180,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
About the Opportunity
A growing pharmaceutical organization is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Sales Specialist to join its commercial team covering the Pacific Northwest. This is an opportunity to represent an innovative therapy within the hematology-oncology space while partnering with community and academic healthcare professionals throughout the territory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of pharmaceutical sales success, strong clinical acumen, and the ability to develop strategic relationships across complex healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and market growth across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
- Promote approved hematology-oncology therapies to physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and key clinical stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to maximize opportunities and achieve sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community oncology practices, academic institutions, and integrated health systems.
- Deliver accurate and compliant clinical education on product efficacy, safety, dosing, and patient management.
- Identify and address barriers to patient access and treatment adoption.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, clinical data, and treatment guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial leadership teams.
- Accurately manage territory activity, account planning, and CRM documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty sales experience.
- Oncology, hematology, specialty, rare disease, or biologic sales experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience calling on both community and academic healthcare providers.
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and clinical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Preferred Background
- Hematology and/or oncology sales experience.
- Experience launching new products or indications.
- Existing relationships within oncology and hematology accounts in the Pacific Northwest.
- Experience navigating complex health systems, IDNs, and specialty treatment centers.
