We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join the team on a contract basis in Switzerland. EPM Scientific is collaborating with a leading medical device company to find a dedicated and experienced CRA to contribute to their innovative projects.

This role requires a commitment of 0.7 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) for an initial contract period of 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs. The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible, bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to dynamic team.

The position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. However, occasional travel within Switzerland will be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. This travel will enable the CRA to engage directly with clinical sites, ensuring the smooth execution of clinical trials and maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.

Candidates must have prior experience in the medical device industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and the specific challenges associated with medical device trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor clinical trials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and study protocols.
  • Conduct site visits, including initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of trial activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the medical device sector.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland as needed.
