Business Strategy Lead
Deliverables
- Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic trends, financial market factors, and regulations in healthcare.
- Analyze client pipelines and lifecycle positions to provide actionable digital product and service recommendations.
- Serve as a credible expert and thought partner to clients, particularly in leveraging AI and analytics to enhance medical communications.
- Own and deliver against defined revenue and growth KPIs for digital data and analytics services, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
Client Responsibility
- Craft proposals, statements of work, and other materials in response to client needs and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring deliverables align with their goals.
- Drive revenue growth by serving as a trusted thought leader, leveraging Ai and analytics to create scalable, profitable solutions for clients.
Management and Internal Responsibility
- Collaborate with internal counterparts across departments to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Partner with the Brand Strategy/Marketing team to create and implement marketing initiatives focused on digital services.
- Support the incubation of new capabilities, leveraging AI, analytics, and innovative technologies.
- Foster professional development within your team (if applicable) and create an environment that maximizes talent impact.
- Achieve annual growth targets and contribute to organizational KPIs.
Business Development
- Lead and close revenue-generating business opportunities aligned with digital, data and analytics priorities.
- Develop and present tailored proposals that deliver financial value to clients and the organization.
- Utilize internal tools and processes to streamline business development, improve decision-making, and foster transparency across teams.
- Evaluate strategic connections and identify opportunities for expanding the impact of digital capabilities.
Other Responsibilities
- Stay at the forefront of digital innovation, identifying trends and emerging technologies that align with our mission.
- Prepare for and participate in industry conferences, client workshops, and other events to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance and Leadership teams to ensure financial transparency and revenue forecasting for digital services.
What You Must Have
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree: advanced degrees are preferred.
- At least 6+ years of business development experience in the healthcare communications agency, digital healthcare services, or biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep understanding of the commercial, medical affairs, and digital healthcare landscapes.
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets, particularly for AI, analytics, or digital services in healthcare communications or life sciences.
- Proven expertise and experience in digital marketing principles and tools.

- Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and act on new business opportunities and foster those initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Passion for innovation, including demonstrated ability to apply AI/analytics solutions to client challenges.

Travel Requirements
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary for projects, client engagements, conferences, and internal needs (up to 60% travel expected).
