Automation Engineer

I'm currently working alongside an industry leader in Pharma that are looking for two Automation Engineers to join their site in Denmark on a 12m contract.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting and optimizing automation systems across multiple sites and countries.

This role involves addressing pain points, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless integration and operation of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support and Optimisation:
    • Provide technical support for Siemens PLC systems, addressing pain points and optimising processes.
    • Support and maintain automation systems at various sites, each running on different platforms.
    • Ensure smooth operation and integration of Satline systems at designated sites.
    • Manage and optimise Delta V systems for US-based operations.
    • Implement and support automation on PI systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyse existing automation processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance system performance and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce downtime.

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation systems.
    • Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system reliability.
    • Provide training and support to site personnel on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with Siemens PLC systems, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Experience with Satline and Delta V systems, with a strong understanding of their operation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with PI systems and their application in automation.

Contract:

  • Start date: July
  • Contract length: 12m
  • 40 hours per week
  • Remote
