Associate Director, Specialty and Trade Operations
As an Associate Director, you will take ownership of specialty pharmacy strategy and execution -driving performance, improving access, and optimizing patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and optimize specialty pharmacy operations to improve patient access, adherence, and affordability
- Monitor vendor and channel performance, ensuring programs consistently meet or exceed expectations
- Drive operational improvements and implement program enhancements across the specialty network
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across patient support, marketing, medical, analytics, and field access
- Translate data into actionable insights to elevate program performance and strategic decision-making
- Lead business reviews with external partners, providing oversight, direction, and accountability
- Develop communications, materials, and program frameworks in alignment with compliance requirements
- Manage budgets, timelines, and operational plans across multiple initiatives
- Ensure all activities are executed with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in biopharma, with a strong track record in market access, trade, or specialty pharmacy
- Deep expertise in specialty pharmacy operations and managing external vendor relationships
- Proven ability to build, launch, and optimize complex programs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and actions
- Experience supporting product launches or pre-launch activities is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
