A rapidly growing life sciences organization is looking to hire a Scientist for Content Marketing to support its expanding commercial and marketing team. This is a growth hire driven by continued business expansion and increased investment in marketing initiatives. This person will work closely with scientific leadership, commercial teams, and subject matter experts to develop high-impact content that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and inbound lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and develop scientific content including emails, brochures, newsletters, case studies, website content, blog posts, presentations, infographics, and video scripts.
  • Maintain and execute a strategic content calendar supporting multiple marketing campaigns and business initiatives.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including design, execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with scientific experts, commercial teams, and customers to identify content opportunities and address market needs.
  • Manage content projects from concept through publication, ensuring scientific accuracy and marketing effectiveness.
  • Support website updates and optimization efforts to improve content performance and user engagement.
  • Assist with planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and agencies to support marketing programs.
  • Manage marketing initiatives from strategy through execution, measurement, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a life sciences discipline such as Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of content creation, scientific marketing, technical writing, or content marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of biologics development, translational research, preclinical drug discovery, and related life sciences applications.
  • Experience creating a variety of long-form and short-form content including blogs, white papers, case studies, emails, website content, and marketing collateral.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear business messaging.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
