Company
Our client is a well-established, multi-site clinical research organization with a growing footprint across the U.S., conducting industry-sponsored trials across a range of therapeutic areas including neurological, psychiatric, dermatologic, and specialty indications.
Position Summary
This is a full-time physician position focused exclusively on clinical research. We are seeking a Principal Investigator with prior clinical research/trial experience who will provide medical oversight across a portfolio of Phase I-IV industry-sponsored clinical trials while working closely with an experienced team of clinical research coordinators, regulatory professionals, and site leadership.
The incoming physician will step into active, well-supported research programs. This is not a ground-up build or a position where the physician is expected to create a research operation from scratch. You will inherit an established study pipeline, experienced research staff, and the support of a well-resourced site organization.
This is an opportunity for a physician to remain closely involved with patients and medical decision-making while building a long-term career at the forefront of clinical research.

  • Serve as Principal Investigator for assigned industry-sponsored clinical trials
  • Evaluate prospective study participants and determine eligibility
  • Perform protocol-required medical assessments and oversee participant safety throughout each study

  • Review and sign source documentation, study records, safety reports, and other required materials
  • Provide medical guidance to clinical research coordinators and other members of the site team
  • Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, medical monitors, and regulatory representatives
  • Support patient enrollment, protocol compliance, data quality, and successful study execution

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified US licensed Physician
  • Previous clinical research experience as a Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigator, research physician, or in a comparable capacity

Previous experience serving as a Principal Investigator on industry-sponsored trials is preferred. Physicians with meaningful Sub-Investigator or clinical trial experience who are prepared to step into a full-time Principal Investigator position are also encouraged to apply.
