EPM Scientific are partnered with an Engineering Consultancy supporting a leading Pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in Germany, who are seeking a Freelance HVAC Turnover Engineer to support them on a long term assignment.

Job Summary:


The Turnover HVAC Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, inspection, testing, and turnover of HVAC systems, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with project specifications, GMP requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards. The Engineer provides field quality oversight, manages documentation and turnover packages, and ensures HVAC systems are fully prepared for commissioning and handover to operations. Key

Responsibilities:


* Lead HVAC-related audits, inspections, quality surveillance activities, and field verifications.
* Provide technical oversight of ductwork, insulation, air handling units, HVAC equipment, and associated installations.
* Verify completion of pressure testing, air balancing, cleanroom requirements, and functional performance testing activities.
* Coordinate and lead HVAC system walkdowns, identify deficiencies, and manage punch list closure through completion.
* Review and oversee turnover documentation, ensuring accurate, compliant, and complete Turnover Packages (TOPs).
* Track construction completion, mechanical completion, and system readiness milestones for turnover.
* Work closely with Construction, CQV, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure smooth system transitions.
* Support commissioning activities, troubleshooting efforts, and structured handover of HVAC systems to commissioning and operations teams.
* Ensure all HVAC systems meet project quality, safety, and regulatory requirements prior to turnover.
