EPM Scientific are partnered with a reputable Pharmaceutical Company which is currently seeking a Scientist to join the Advanced Material Characterization and Investigations (AMCI) group within the Analytical Development (AD) department. See a short summary below:

Contract Conditions:

  • Start date: ASAP

  • Contract Type: Consultant, Full-Time - 12 Month contract

  • Focus Areas: Nitrosamines, LC-HRMS, Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytical methods for nitrosamine quantification, including innovative sample preparation and chromatographic techniques.
  • Lead and support root cause investigations related to nitrosamines across various stages of R&D.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal experts to explore and apply innovative analytical approaches.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships with universities and research institutions to expand external innovation capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, GMP, and safety regulations in a laboratory setting.


Requirements:

  • PhD in Analytical or Organic Chemistry (or related field), or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in nitrosamine analysis in pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience with mass spectrometry (Triple Quadrupole and High-Resolution MS).
  • Familiarity with chromatographic method development and regulatory frameworks (ICH, EMA, FDA).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
