We are seeking a Quality Systems Manager to join our team in the South of France on a 12-month contract, with the potential for permanent placement. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong French language skills and the ability to operate with autonomy and maturity within a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee environmental monitoring programs and contamination control strategies across classified areas.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of monitoring strategies, safeguarding valid status of systems and facilities.
  • Exercise sound judgment in deviation handling and decision-making, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
  • Manage and develop a team of 3+ professionals (executive or junior executive level), fostering accountability, collaboration, and performance.
  • Drive initiatives in Computerized System Validation (CSV) and Data Integrity (DI) to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the maturity of the QA Systems department, moving beyond execution to strategic oversight and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure quality systems are aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in environmental monitoring, contamination control, and classified areas.
  • Strong background in CSV and DI compliance.
  • Demonstrated team management experience (minimum 3 direct reports).
  • Ability to work independently with autonomy and strategic maturity in a regulated environment.
  • Track record of implementing monitoring strategies and maintaining validated status.
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus.
