Freelance Logistics Specialist - (SAP/EWM)
We are partnering with an Electrical & Electronics Manufacturer headquartered in Austria and they are seeking an experienced an SAP/EWM Logistics Specialist with a strong grounding in SAP/EWM. This is a key role within a major SAP EWM implementation project that is already underway and expected to run for the next two years. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between IT teams and logistics operations, ensuring smooth deployment and optimisation of SAP EWM across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing SAP EWM implementation project, working closely with IT and logistics teams.
- Act as the logistics subject matter expert, ensuring system design aligns with operational requirements.
- Facilitate shop floor adoption of SAP EWM, providing guidance and troubleshooting during roll-out.
- Lead and contribute to optimisation projects post-implementation to enhance system functionality and meet evolving business needs.
- Gather and analyse data and feedback from shop floor teams and external partners to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure SAP EWM processes integrate seamlessly with existing logistics workflows.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with SAP EWM within a logistics environment.
- Hands-on experience in implementing SAP EWM modules and driving optimisation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and shop floor management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams while representing operational priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
