Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and structured transactions.
- Develop and present business cases for prioritized opportunities, including robust analyses, key assumptions, and risk assessments.
- Lead external opportunity presentations and negotiations with limited supervision.
- Drive cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, coordinating with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance.
- Manage BD operations and transactions from proposal through deal closure and alliance management.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of BD and licensing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Represent the company at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, building relationships across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development, R&D, or strategic planning within the life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D and licensing.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal and project management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English required.
