About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and client-focused Account Director to join our growing healthcare advertising agency, specializing in managed markets and market access communications. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare payer landscape.

As an Account Director, you will lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of payer marketing strategies, value propositions, and access-focused campaigns for top-tier pharmaceutical and biotech clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with brand and access teams.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of market access initiatives including AMCP dossiers, value decks, payer pull-through materials, and reimbursement tools.
  • Collaborate with medical, creative, and strategy teams to ensure alignment and excellence in deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior account team members.
  • Stay current on industry trends, payer policy changes, and competitive landscape to inform client strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare advertising or pharmaceutical marketing, with at least 3 years focused on managed markets or market access.
  • Proven track record of leading client engagements and delivering strategic access solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including payers, PBMs, IDNs, and reimbursement pathways.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
