About the Role
A leading medical device company is seeking a Post Market Surveillance Specialist to support their Quality & Regulatory Affairs function. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining customer trust across a global product portfolio.
You will work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, applying your analytical expertise to post-market activities, vigilance reporting, and complaint handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer complaints from intake through to closure, ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Interpret and apply global vigilance and reporting requirements
- Conduct complaint file reviews, including coding and trending activities
- Support global complaint handling, regulatory reporting, and field actions
- Draft and maintain vigilance documentation and templates
- Coordinate field actions with competent authorities and regional teams
- Perform Health Hazard Assessments for product-related issues
- Provide regular updates on complaint investigations, reporting, and field actions
- Support creation of Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
- Contribute to Quality Management Reviews and customer feedback initiatives
- Deliver training on Post Market Surveillance and complaint processes
- Stay up to date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards
Candidate Profile
- Degree (Associate or Bachelor's) in Engineering or Scientific discipline (e.g. Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Proven experience within medical devices, IVD, or pharmaceutical environments
- Strong knowledge of post-market surveillance, vigilance, and complaint handling
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
- Highly organised, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
- Resilient with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
