Location: Canada (Fully Remote)
Overview
- Support client‑facing scientific and medical communications initiatives across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors
- Partner with internal teams to deliver strategic, high‑quality medical affairs solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Serve as a trusted day‑to‑day contact while helping translate complex scientific content into clear, impactful communications
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding objectives, priorities, and challenges
- Coordinate and support execution of multiple scientific communications projects simultaneously
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Assist with development of proposals, project updates, and client‑facing presentations
- Collaborate closely with medical, editorial, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Participate in strategic discussions by contributing insights on client needs and healthcare trends
- Review materials for scientific accuracy, clarity, and alignment with regulatory and industry standards
- Ensure internal quality and compliance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in client services, account management, or project coordination within medical communications, pharma, or biotech
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific content and healthcare industry dynamics
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
- Familiarity with regulated review environments across global markets
- Proficiency with standard productivity and project management tools
