A leading European provider of advanced pulmonary medical devices is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to support the commercial expansion of its innovative respiratory portfolio across Germany. The organisation specialises in the development of minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of severe emphysema and chronic bronchitis, including a CE‑marked bronchoscopic lung volume reduction system designed to improve lung function, exercise capacity, and patient quality of life.

European sales, marketing, storage, and product distribution are coordinated through a dedicated commercial office located in Düsseldorf, ensuring strong operational support for the successful candidate.

Role Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for the full commercial management of the assigned German region, including:

  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand adoption of pulmonary therapeutic technologies within hospitals, respiratory centres, and clinical networks.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with pulmonologists, interventional pneumologists, respiratory therapists, procurement departments, and senior clinical stakeholders.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, in‑service training sessions, and professional education around the bronchoscopic lung volume reduction coil system.
  • Supporting clinical teams during evaluations, demonstrations, and case‑based educational activities.
  • Managing the sales cycle from prospect identification to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, reporting market intelligence, and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Representing the organisation at national and European respiratory congresses and professional events.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience within medical device sales, preferably within pulmonology, interventional respiratory care, ICU, or related clinical specialities.
  • A strong track record of success in hospital-based selling, including procurement and tender management.
  • High technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly and credibly.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with clinicians, department heads, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in German and strong proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned German territory.
