Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major data centre project based in Tournai, Belgium. This is an on-site role suited to a highly motivated and proactive professional with a strong background in project engineering within electrical environments, including hands-on involvement in electrical cabinet installation and data centre infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support electrical engineering aspects of data centre projects
- Supervise and coordinate electrical cabinet installation, including assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in line with technical specifications and standards
- Monitor on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Support planning, scheduling, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project timelines
- Provide technical expertise across electrical systems within a data centre environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in electrical engineering and project engineering
- Proven on-site data centre experience
- Experience with electrical cabinet installation, wiring, and commissioning
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site deliverables effectively
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory)
