Executive Director, Data Strategy & Analytics

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Data Vision: Lead the development of a long-term commercial data and analytics roadmap aligned with brand growth market needs.
  • Data Infrastructure & Governance: Oversee integration and management of diverse commercial data sources (e.g., pharmacy, claims, CRM), ensuring quality, compliance, and scalability.
  • Advanced Analytics Enablement: Build predictive and advanced analytics capabilities to support proactive insights, scenario planning, and business optimization.
  • Global Insights Leadership: Deliver unified commercial insights across regions, balancing global consistency with local market relevance and establishing KPI frameworks.
  • Patient Journey Analytics: Integrate specialty pharmacy and hub data to track patient access, adherence, and therapy initiation, supporting brand strategy and access solutions.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Recruit and lead a high-performing analytics team while managing external partners and ensuring scalable resourcing.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights that inform high-level decision-and evolving making.

Requirements:

  • Holds a degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field; advanced degrees such as an MBA, MS, or PhD are highly valued.
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial analytics, data strategy, or operations within life sciences, covering both U.S. and global markets.
  • Must be leading a team currently
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement long-term analytics strategies that support product growth from launch to maturity.
  • Skilled in integrating diverse commercial data sources and managing enterprise-level data governance and master data systems.
  • Experienced in applying predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques to commercial challenges.
  • Adept at partnering with IT to align data infrastructure with compliance and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Strong leadership presence with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement and clear, strategic communication.
