Director Market Access Strategy
The Director of U.S. Market Access Strategy will lead U.S. access strategy and execution for a specialty neurology portfolio within a competitive payer landscape. This role is accountable for shaping payer value strategy, access‑focused marketing, pricing and contracting alignment, and cross‑functional execution to drive sustained product growth across the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilites:
- Lead the evolution and execution of U.S. market access strategies for specialty neurology products.
- Drive payer engagement approaches that support predictable access, pull‑through, and growth.
- Partner with pricing and contracting teams to guide access‑aligned pricing strategies.
- Develop payer‑facing value propositions, messaging, and promotional materials (branded and unbranded).
- Oversee access‑related marketing initiatives supporting payers, providers, IDNs, and GPOs.
- Champion pull‑through initiatives in collaboration with field access and reimbursement teams.
- Lead access strategies for buy‑and‑bill environments and physician‑administered settings.
- Monitor reimbursement and policy dynamics and integrate insights into access planning.
- Support evidence generation priorities in partnership with HEOR and Medical.
- Drive alignment across pricing, HEOR, trade & distribution, field access, medical, legal, regulatory, and brand teams.
- Lead competitive intelligence efforts to inform access positioning and strategy.
- Coach and develop access marketing talent within a matrixed organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in U.S. market access, payer marketing, pricing, or related commercial functions.
- Strong expertise in buy‑and‑bill reimbursement, payer policy, trade & distribution, and pricing frameworks.
- Proven leadership in cross‑functional environments with both strategic and hands‑on execution responsibilities.
- Background in market access consulting strongly encouraged.
