EPM is proud to be representing a global medtech leader at the forefront of cardiovascular innovation. Our client is preparing to launch a next-generation stent technology that is set to redefine standards in interventional cardiology. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead the French market entry and commercial expansion.


Role Summary:
As Country Manager, you will be responsible for launching and scaling a breakthrough cardiology device across France. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep market knowledge, a strong clinical network, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in the cardiovascular space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial launch of a novel stent technology in France.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the French healthcare landscape.
  • Build and manage a national sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), interventional cardiologists, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and reimbursement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and global leadership teams to align strategy and execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company at national congresses, symposia, and industry events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the cardiology or interventional medical device sector.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new cardiovascular products in France.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and scaling commercial teams.
  • Strong clinical acumen and established network within the French cardiology community.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across France.
