Our client is seeking a Contracts & Pricing Lead to provide strategic pricing, contracting, financial modeling, and operational execution support for their U.S. commercial and market access teams. This role plays a critical leadership function in shaping contracting strategy, guiding pricing decisions, and ensuring flawless execution across internal and external stakeholders.

This individual will act as a strategic advisor and hands‑on leader in pricing and contracting, ensuring alignment between business objectives, financial expectations, and marketplace dynamics. You will partner closely with commercial leadership, market access, finance, and field teams to deliver impactful strategies and operational excellence.
What You Will Do
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for:
Strategic Pricing & Financial Modeling
- Build and execute pricing strategies through financial modeling, scenario analyses, and risk assessments.
- Prepare and present strategic pricing recommendations to internal governance committees.
- Support exception pricing decisions with financial rigor and strategic insight.
Contracting Strategy & Operations
- Lead end‑to‑end Contract Operations, ensuring accurate implementation of agreements, pricing terms, and rebate processes.
- Support contract negotiations with field‑based teams and market access leadership.
- Evaluate reimbursement pathways and utilization management criteria to align with contracting objectives.
- Build account‑specific business cases and analytical support for contracting strategy.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze evolving marketplace trends and competitive activity.
- Develop and present channel strategy recommendations for senior leadership.
- Define and track KPIs for channel strategy effectiveness.
Forecasting & Financial Impact
- Support Gross‑to‑Net (GtN) forecasting through pricing and channel mix assumptions.
- Report on strategy performance and effectiveness versus expected outcomes.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Execution
- Drive flawless execution of pull‑through programs with field sales teams.
- Build a strong customer‑focused mindset and deep understanding of customer business models.
- Develop standardized analytical tools and dashboards to support decision‑making.
- Foster team development through mentorship, strategic staffing, and culture‑building initiatives.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year university
- Minimum 5 years of U.S. pharmaceutical experience in pricing strategy, contracting, data analysis, or commercialization strategy
- Experience in pharma sales, sales operations, finance, or other commercial/analytical areas
- Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and consensus‑building abilities
- Strong project management and financial modeling capabilities
- High initiative, creativity, and strategic problem‑solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results and influence without authority
- Experience writing or updating departmental SOPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience in pharmaceutical contracting or distribution services
- Deep understanding of the U.S. retail pharmaceutical landscape and key stakeholders (PBMs, payers, specialty pharmacies, etc.)
