A leading European innovator in interventional pulmonary medicine is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to lead commercial activities across Switzerland. The organisation develops minimally invasive technologies for severe emphysema and chronic bronchitis, including a CE‑marked bronchoscopic lung volume reduction system designed to improve lung function, exercise tolerance, and patient quality of life.
European sales, marketing, storage, and distribution are coordinated through the organisation's commercial office in Düsseldorf, providing robust infrastructure and operational support for activity across Switzerland.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be accountable for the commercial development of the Swiss market, including:
- Creating and executing a strategic sales plan to expand adoption of pulmonary interventional technologies across hospitals, respiratory centres, and specialist clinics.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with pulmonologists, interventional pneumologists, respiratory therapists, procurement teams, and clinical leadership.
- Delivering product demonstrations, in‑service training sessions, and educational programmes on the bronchoscopic lung volume reduction coil system.
- Supporting clinicians during product evaluations, hands‑on procedural demonstrations, and case‑based education.
- Managing the complete sales process from lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
- Conducting ongoing analysis of competitor activity, market trends, and clinical developments to guide strategic planning.
- Representing the organisation at national and international respiratory congresses and professional events.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience within medical device sales, preferably within pulmonology, interventional respiratory care, ICU, anaesthesia, or related clinical specialties.
- A successful track record engaging hospital stakeholders, including procurement and clinical evaluation teams.
- Strong technical competency and the ability to communicate complex clinical information with clarity and credibility.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with physicians, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in German or French, with solid English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland.
