Overview

A global MedTech organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high‑performing Informatics team supporting critical diagnostic and laboratory systems used by hospitals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade software solutions within a regulated MedTech environment
• Work on the modernisation and enhancement of legacy applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
• Develop secure, high‑quality functionality using .NET and Angular
• Collaborate closely with Informatics, diagnostics, and instrumentation teams
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design
• Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and documentation standards relevant to medical devices
• Contribute as a senior, hands‑on engineer within a cross‑functional Agile team

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer in a commercial environment
• Strong hands‑on development experience with .NET (C#) and Angular
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices
• Experience working on complex systems, including legacy platforms
• Background in MedTech, Medical Devices, Healthcare IT, or other regulated industries is highly desirable
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under delivery pressure
• This is not an AI‑centred role - core software engineering and coding expertise is essential
