Overview
A global MedTech organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high‑performing Informatics team supporting critical diagnostic and laboratory systems used by hospitals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade software solutions within a regulated MedTech environment
- Work on the modernisation and enhancement of legacy applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop secure, high‑quality functionality using .NET and Angular
- Collaborate closely with Informatics, diagnostics, and instrumentation teams
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design
- Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and documentation standards relevant to medical devices
- Contribute as a senior, hands‑on engineer within a cross‑functional Agile team
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer in a commercial environment
- Strong hands‑on development experience with .NET (C#) and Angular
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices
- Experience working on complex systems, including legacy platforms
- Background in MedTech, Medical Devices, Healthcare IT, or other regulated industries is highly desirable
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under delivery pressure
- This is not an AI‑centred role - core software engineering and coding expertise is essential
